Tennis is a wonderful, life-long sport that I have been lucky enough to play and teach for fifty years. I started teaching tennis at my local park district when I was in high school and have been teaching tennis ever since. For many years, I taught tennis part-time in Evanston and Wilmette and in 2010, I joined the GRC staff working with junior players. Over the years, tennis has changed and I am very committed to keeping up with the most current technique and tactics. I have been very involved in furthering my education and have received the following certifications since joining GRC: Master of Tennis – Junior Development from the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR); 10 and Under Professional Rating certification from the PTR; Coach Youth Tennis certification from the USTA and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) High School Athletic Coaching certification.
My goal is simple, to help you reach your potential as a tennis player AND to make the journey fun and something you look forward to every time you schedule a lesson. I have coached every level of player from beginners to NCAA Division I athletes. Playing tennis is a great activity and the best part is that the more your skills improve, the more fun you will have on the court. Let’s get started now improving your tennis skills and having fun.
